I rather think it is a case of QED - whether he acknowledges it or not, he‘s been rumbled.

There's mention on a News Forum thread comment that prasnee has been pressured into severely limiting his post frequency on this site. Who knows what possibly could have proved the catalyst of the enforced withdrawal .
The News thread in question shows a real turtle's head...
'I don’t believe it', says Lib Dem Cllr Simon Shaw over Police response claim
http://southport.qlocal.co.uk/southp...m-55032093.htm
The turtle's head refers to the opening sequence of classic sitcom, 'One Foot In The Grave', which followed an old turtle crawling around its neighbourhood, over foliage, small rocks and by hedges, looking for something, anything to do.
A humorous preface and gentle warm-up for the coming show, especially given the character played by the log-suffering and often distressed Annette Crosbie, who often cleared up the mess left behind by the character played by Dick Wilson, who spent his existence pointlessly and ineffectively sticking his large nose into any local business into which he could insert himself.

Cherie Brandie was Tony Dawson. At one time he had so many alter egos that it was practically a full time job checking the various IP numbers... then getting rid of them!
Prasnee is definitely not Dawson. At the time of The Garageman kerfuffle many members accused Prasnee of being Dawson. I advised them that it was not him, but that's quite a while ago.

Thanks for clarifying that one, if you were Cllr Dawson you’d be annoyed with prasnee if he was one of he colleagues. Personally I find it very irritating that we have a crop of councillors who are supposed to be respresenting us spending so much time trying to undermine our council and other parties to a negative net effect for the town whether this be through pseudonyms not stating they’re a councillor or “news” stories.

Brexit: Vince Cable refuses to say if he missed crucial votes to discuss creation of new pro-EU party
Leader’s embarrassing absence explained by dinner with backers of a new movement, it is claimed
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...-a8458481.html
Vince Cable is refusing to say if he missed crucial Commons votes on Brexit because he was discussing the creation of a new pro-EU party.
The Liberal Democrats are remaining tight-lipped over their leader’s embarrassing absence, amid a report that he was at a dinner with backers of a new movement.
(...)
Tim Farron, the former Lib Dem leader, apologised after also missing the votes, in order to give a speech on gay sex and Christianity.

I think he was there to justify himself, John Pugh as much as the libs sell him as a political heavyweight voted pretty much with every coalition proposal they put forward except for same sex marriage.....
As much as they distance themselves from the negative aspects of the coalition we still ended up with sir Danny Alexander for services to treasury, sir nick clegg etc so they must be accepting responsibility for something!
I did notice on the other site in one of shaw and Dawson’s marathon fighting with Southport residents cllr Dawson accused Jane Kennedy of “pouring thousands of pounds of public money into own pocket”, (hopefully she sued him and the council have a look at members conduct but I’m guessing we haven’t paid for their social media training yet). Anyway, got me thinking about the office re-renting in which we pay allowances for an mp to rent an office in the constituency and whether it’s fair, so:
1) The Lib Dem’s pay between £10,000 and £14,700 a year office rent (excluding bills):
http://www.theipsa.org.uk/mp-costs/your-mp/john-pugh/
2) the local Lib Dem accounts each year reports a rental income of:
£4800ish from John Pugh
£8700ish from Gladstone liberal club (who own the building JP rents)
http://search.electoralcommission.or...ocuments/18877
https://order-order.com/2013/11/14/c...re-re-renting/
3) next door in 2017 offered rented the whole building for £7,950 (we paid £14,000ish the same year) so is what we paid the going rate or a sweetheart deal?
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/reall...9062efedc7.amp

Not sure if anything in it but feels a bit like we as tax payers paid over the going rate to donate money to the local Lib Dem’s by stealth which is much more pouring money into ones pockets than Jane Kennedy taking a salary which is set nationally by the government for a job the Lib Dem’s co-created and voted for. Anyway, I think prasnee is an accountant so maybe he can make us see the error of our ways but on face of it does feel like rich hypocrisy from our friendly local libs.

As with me, I guess that Jane Kennedy has a regard for Tony Dawson's political skills and political survival skills.
It's a pity she doesn't post on this forum on this site.
If she did, I would point her in the direction of the below-the-line comments on an old news forum thread on this site.
