Excellent Peking style take-away serving restaurant standard food

I ordered a Chinese meal for delivery having not tried Poons before as my usual takeaway was closed on Monday. The food arrived, prawn chowmein and a portion of chips for which I was charged £9.00

The food was completely tasteless and very greasy, I could not eat it nor could my son or wife. The meal went in the bin and I called Poons to complain. I was told by what sounded like a young shop assistant that he had had the meal and thought it nice. I explained that it was tasteless and greasy and by far the worst Chinese meal I had ever had. The young assistant, obviously recently graduated from charm school told me not to order it again.

What has happened to customer service and quality?
