Never had a bad meal/experience in the Barking Frog. Excellent food with a varied menu that is changed regularly. I like the fact that if there is something you have enoyed there before and isnt on the current menu they will prepare it for you as long as they have the ingredients in, nothing is too much trouble. Lovely atmosphere and decor, great staff, never disappointed!

Love this restaurant! The decor and atmosphere are just right - making it relaxed but still special. Food is very fresh, good portions and good prices. Look out for mid-week and early evening specials.

The Barking Frog has become our restaurant of choice for special occasions. I've had lunches, group birthdays, dinner with friends and romantic nights out and my cousin even had his wedding meal there ... every time it has been absolutely top notch.

The service is exceptional, one of the ladies in particular has a brilliant manner about her ...when she tells you what the specials are, she is so enthusiastic you almost want to order every one of them!

One of our favourite things is the bread and dips you are brought at the beginning of your meal. It's complimentary and delicious ... something you would expect to pay at least £5 for elsewhere.

The food is lovely and really competitively priced when you choose from the tale d'hote menu, and always seems to have a great variety of dishes.

One last thing ... you get your meal for free if it's your birthday! Wowzers!

Only negative .. Rob is a nice guy but first appearances he comes across a bit sullen and serious. You've got a great business there mate, with good staff and loyal clientele ... lighten up a bit and enjoy!

I've been many a time, but on my most recent visit, I was stunned!

We went quite late on into service, infact we were pretty much last orders.

I ordered the steak, and when they brought it, it was quite a tough piece of steak. Gabriel who served us couldn't have been more apologetic, and proceeded to come back with a plate FULL of steak!

Couldn't believe it!

The cocktails are to die for here as well, all about the silk stocking!
