Young Herbert Silcock worked there then I fancied him ........how much was it to get in 2/- or 2/6 something like that. We never had any money for burgers or doughnuts you must have been rich.

The Water Chute and Maxim Flying Boats (seen in the 1906 postcards) were dismantled some time between 1912 and 1914, then sold and rebuilt at Blackpool.

Schwarzkopf didin't build the Revolution at Blackpool, that was built by Arrow Dynamics.

Its interesting to see that the Colonnade roller skating rink in Princes Part appears to have been demolished at that time but not replaced by the current eyesore.

The pool was remodeled in it's later stages & the blue slides are on the right of the shot & the v shape was built to made a safe paddling area.

I recall the English Rose contestants used to walk out over the lake on a wooden jetty type structure.
