Norwood Road School - 1960's
Here's a few 1960's class photos from Norwood Road School - the last one is a bonny baby contest circa 1962 from All Souls Church fair!
Anyone recognise anybody?
Sorry - I can't upload them as 'file is too big'. I'll have to play around with them!

I have rotated them for you.
Makes them easier to see.

Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

Thanks Rigsby!
When I tried to upload them the right way round I was informed that they were too big so I had to rotate them to fit them on!
Ta!

"Bondy on his motorbike, going at the speed of light..."
Yes, a great guy, I seem to recall someone telling me he had died a few years ago.
Him and Mr Cliff (think that was his name, lived downstairs in the cellar..) both had a reputation for being fierce in the late 70's.

Mrs Graham another teacher at Norwood upset me around 1982 when she said that my son was slow. What she actually meant to say was that he took his time as he wanted to get everything correct.
It has been said that when helping people change their behaviour – “the spirit in which help is offered” is the most important aspect, more than the degree of skills and knowledge of the helper!

Don't forget these photos of Norwood Road school that I put on here in May. They were taken in the late 60's - early 70's. My brother John Mercer is the tall lad at the back and David Lonsdale is usually standing next to him!
