The glorious weather and the Easter Bank Holiday have seen thousands of day trippers flock to Southport.

Seafront car parks were full and the Pier creaking as people soaked up the sun and enjoyed themselves.

High tides over the next few days mean those who say the sea never comes at Southport will be made up as the beach will be covered with water between 12 noon and 2 pm.

So come on whingers who ask why
the hell would anyone want to come to Southport with
nowhere to park , traffic wardens giving
tickets, charges too high etc.
