A brilliant morning welcoming Starbucks to Ocean Plaza Southport, thank you to Our Lady Mayor who officially cut the ribbon.

Starbucks will be supporting Little Legs Dogs Rescue a local family run charitable organisation - we were delighted have some fury four legged friends heading to Ocean Plaza Leisure.

Why would anybody want to spend money in Starbucks? There are plenty of independent coffee shops offering better quality at a far cheaper price

Somebody must like Starbucks coffee, or they'd never have become so popular.
I liked their fair-trade coffee myself, but not sure if they still do it?

Why do we need a drive thru? Lazy Bas***** who cant get out of their cars. There must be at least 4 empty units on the OP. Feel sorry for the lady who has the coffee place in the Kings Gardens.

"We" as in the entire population dont need one.
But some people may prefer one, enough for it to be profitable for Starbucks.
    Others may prefer Kings Gardens.

As my neighbour said. I'd love to go to Starbucks , but have been
told to go back to work. So I can't possibly afford it.
Have to stick with Andys cafe . Get coffee with bacon butty
thrown in, same price as Starbucks coffee.
