Brad Bauress and Dion Charles both scored twice as Southport hit five in the second half to complete tremendous turnaround.
Trailing to a goal from Jack Edwards at the break, the Port turned on the style to extend their unbeaten run in the league to 12 matches, registering their fifth win from seven games.
The home team could have been in front on 16 minutes when Bauress smashed a shot against the post from a Charles cross.
But Leamington took the lead ten minutes before the break, as Reece Flannigan’s deep free-kick was met at the far post by Edwards, whose shot was judged to have crossed the line.
Southport introduced Devarn Green at half-time and the substitution reaped immediate dividends, as his run and cross set up Bauress, who turned home the rebound after his initial shot was saved by goalkeeper Tony Breeden.
Green was to have a hand in three goals, providing a cross on 66 minutes which was touched by Bauress into the path of David Morgan and he scored with a composed finish.
Bauress added Southport’s third, receiving another pass from Green before taking a touch to set himself and finding the bottom left-hand corner.
Charles got onto the scoresheet after Morgan had combined with Jordan Richards, and Charles struck again in stoppage time having exchanged passes with Jack Sampson.

Could have been 3 up first 10 mins, however 2nd half "clinical" well taken goals and only 4 points off the playoffs
