Jack Sampson came off the bench to score the winning goal and lift Southport up to 11th place in the Vanarama National League North.

Sampson, a first-half substitute, struck eight minutes after the break to earn the Port maximum points against Guiseley.

The result extends Southport’s unbeaten run in the league to 11 games, ensuring their climb up the table continues.

It was a result Liam Watson’s had to grind out against a Guiseley side who proved difficult to break down but ultimately the win was convincing.

The deciding goal came on 53 minutes, Dion Charles doing well to create space in the area before Sampson executed a brilliant finish with the outside of his left foot across goalkeeper Marcus Dewhurst.

Having been made to wait for a league win at the Merseyrail Community Stadium, Southport have now recorded three wins from their last four home games.

The home team had controlled the first half but good openings were difficult to come by. Their two clearest chances came from Brad Bauress free-kicks, sending his first effort over the bar before goalkeeper Dewhurst touched another set-play onto the angle of post and bar in stoppage time.

Once ahead, Southport saw out the game with an air of assurance, although they were grateful to goalkeeper Dan Hanford for saving from Rowan Liburd after he had seized on a slip from Andy Parry.

Kayode Odejai also headed over from the centre of the Port area but this was a solid win.

Southport: Hanford, Winnard, Ogle, Edwards, Parry, Morgan, Charles (Davies 90), Wood, Gilchrist (Homson-Smith 77), Archer (Sampson 27), Bauress.
    Subs not used: Tibbetts, Richards.

Guiseley: Dewhurst, Moyo (Morrison 77), Heaton, Purver, Thornton, Halls, Felix, James, Liburd, Odejayi (Walters 90), Smith (Clayton 77).
    Subs not used: Newall, Green.

    Referee: Scott Simpson

    Attendance: 701

I am from Japan, so this text is for the Japanese who live in America.
Incredible news, I am a big fan of sports Sports are always thrilling.
However, is there really something more gambling at site https://xn--lck0a4d411qemf.jp/casino-x/ than a Japanese casino? This is incredible. I recommend everyone to combine, good luck.
