Given today’s welcome news from the 3 heroes of democracy sat at The Court of sessions in Scotland, this all seems a tad unnecessary. Or maybe this conference is going to be an annual event held until this monumental mess is finally sorted out.

Shouldn't you wait until after the appeal to say "Welcome News"?

I know, lets hedge our bets and go to court in Scotland, England and Ireland, surely we can persuade one of the courts. If we fail in all those courts, perhaps our friends in the EU courts will be on our side....

    What an absolute cluster-fkuc...

Democracy appears to be different according to who you ask. As far as I am concerned, the traditions of the UK are that when an issue arises that would affect everyone in the country, the general public Nationwide are allowed to vote on whether they agree or not. The winning vote, even if it won by just one vote, is acted upon in Parliament without further question. That to me, is democracy as we have always known it. To allow a few hundred MP's, arrogantly take it on themselves to change the people's vote, perhaps for their own favour - is treason, there is no other word for it. Because that means that in the UK, democracy is finished - it becomes a dictatorship! The fact that the Public vote rests on 'a Deal' or 'no Deal' is irrelevant! Leave means leave - details can be sorted later!
