You seem to be missing my point. I'm not suggesting people work for their benefits, I'm suggesting that if there's work to be done that jobs are created to do the work, thereby reducing unemployment.

But if you're correct I'd like to seek compensation for my 33 year's continuous employment.
your suggestion of unemployed on benefits being enrolled into doing community work as a return for their benefits .its been broached before.

Why should they? If you want someone to do a fair days work, they should expect to receive a fair days pay in return.

In its hey day Hesketh Park had an army of gardeners park rangers etc etc the World didn't revolve around the Super Rich governed by a vindictive set of immoral charlatans who look after the rich at the expense of everyone else.

I think you are a little mixed up Hesketh Park totally stems from a grossly unequal society.
It was gifted to the town by a very rich family (Heskeths) who relied on thousands of lowly paid people to enrich themselves in a time before the NHS and state benefits.

The Government we have today despite being dysfunctional are like Father Christmas to the masses compared to what it was like with overcrowding and poverty the norm for so many.

That's not what I was suggesting.

I was suggesting creating jobs to reduce unemployment.

You're going back a bit for those conditions, in fact it was precisely those conditions which brought about the Trades Unions and eventually the Labour Party, a few would like a return to those days, the likes of Rees-Mogg for starters.

The Labour Party abandoned the poor years ago.

They decided to pursue Euro-Islington policies that let people pay the price for their European susperstate support.

Blair gave away peoples jobs, homes and services in pursuit of a European superstate.

In desperation they now vote for Farage.

No local authorities have prisons, all prison are run by the government and even if Sefton wanted to use the prisoners they wouldn't be able to - come into the real world
