Once again the homeless problem raises its ugly head with another poor soul sleeping rough this time in the entrance to Southport Station.
Sefton Council has a range of services for Rough Sleepers that work across all parts of the borough to try and reduce the number of people sleeping rough in the borough. If you want to report an incidence of Rough Sleeping in Sefton please:Phone the Rough Sleeper Outreach Team via Light for Life on 01704 501256 (or 0791 874 6042 outside normal office hours and weekends), or alternatively.E-mail housing.options@sefton.gov.uk and provide details of the location and any description of the person. We will acknowledge your e-mail and give you a response to your report.Alternatively you can use the StreetLink website to report your concerns about someone you have seen sleeping rough in your local area. This will alert the appropriate authority or outreach service where you have seen the person, to help them find the individual and connect them to support

on here expecting what ???
This happens all over , don't blame the government
for this situation. There's a lot of people
just choose to live this way.
They don't want you interfering in their
lives.
