Due to strike action by RMT members of Network Rail there will be no Merseyrail train services on Tuesday 21, Thursday 23 and Saturday 25 June.

Whilst Merseyrail staff are not taking part in this industrial action, it will involve Network Rail staff who operate the signalling systems and provide crucial maintenance which allow services to run safely. Therefore we are unable to provide any train services on days when industrial action is taking place.

There will be no rail replacement buses on strike days and passengers are advised to make alternative travel arrangements.

If you have a ticket for travel on 21, 23 or 25 of June you can use this ticket either on the day before the date on the ticket or after the date of the ticket, up to and including Tuesday 28 June.

Due to the industrial action lasting 24 hours, there will also be knock on effects on the day after each industrial action date except for Sunday 26 June. On Wednesday 22 and Friday 24 June limited rail replacement buses will run until 07:00 and trains will be reintroduced from 07:00.

Please see the rail replacement bus and first train timetables HERE.

If you don’t want to work or don’t want the pay offered then go home your sacked there are many they could train up that want jobs. The average rail worker gets paid more than the average nurse. I understand money is not being put into the railway like it used to be and safety must be paramount but stop the country and cause businesses and folk to loose money no they always strike at the worst times for maximum disruption, sack the lot of them gradually and replace them with fully trained fairly paid agency workers that want to work.

So who is going to run the trains in the many months while the agency workers are being trained and what do you regard as 'fairly paid' obviously far less than the current staff earn. You do realise also that this dispute is mainly to do with the closure of all ticket offices

No one’s going to get sacked.
When jobs are on the chopping block and livelihoods are at stake, union members stand together to defend each other.
Good on them. I’m sure there’ll be plenty more industrial action to come in this country this year. For those of us fortunate to be in a unionised workplace that is.

No I think the company’s should continue as they are getting shafted and being held hostage by the unions and putting the country to shame while they gradually train staff at the expense of the staff ( training fees to be repaid gradually out of wages like bus companies do when they train staff ) that want to work then phasing them in through agency’s on the same percentage rate above the national average or minimum pay as they are on now, there was no suggestion of paying less than the current rate so quit that drama right now. Strikes should be a thing of the past if they don’t want the job or the pay they should leave .

Liars exaggerate your honour, so ASDA test once a week (they also must be onto you) and their/your union is the GMB, your busted mate or you will be when they really do test you..

    Nope, not Asda.
You seem to have a lot of time on your hands tonight?

Ha resorted to claims that I am a child sex offender that’s original and deformation of character, you are safe on this site with these type of false claims as the owners have been overlooking your trolling so far but one day you will push it too far I must have really hit the nail on the head. Years ago you would have been banned for this aswell as drug driving lets see how long it will be before you do get tested then ..let’s see.

Lol, deformation of character? What’s that supposed to mean you thick €unt?
Stick to little words your familiar with such as nonce, kids, fiddling, paedo etc.
PS. I think you mean defamation. As in making unsubstantiated claims about someone using drugs or drink whilst in their work place. Works both ways arsehole.

  17. MICK/GILLY says:21/06/2022 12:55 AM
Yea if they don’t ban you I am going to report you to the police they can find you from this site and test your hair and decide if you have been drug driving, your posts support drug use and drugs stay in your system for months and I fear you are an unsafe driver because of this and whatever you say or I suspect you simply can’t call people paedophiles there has got to be some law about that.

Ha ha you’re hilarious. Believing in reform of U.K. drug laws would not be just cause for the police to get involved dick head. But don’t let that stop you, please do. I’d love to be a fly on the wall when they laugh you out of the building. Daft old €unt.
I don’t do drugs, never have done and never will do. Find just one post in my history that says I have. But that doesn’t mean that I can’t have an opinion on our antiquated drug laws.
And anyway, they might want to know why you have a device that can connect to the internet. Aren’t you breaching a court order? Tut tut very naughty. Leave our kids alone MICK.

  19. MICK/GILLY says:21/06/2022 01:52 AM
So you are saying I have been to court for abusing kids and they have ordered that I am banned from the internet and that I ought not to touch kids, that I am a nonce and so on, that’s quite a claim out of nowhere and some would be offended about that. I promise you I will sort this one way or the other.. or both . I dont think you can go saying this stuff about people. Maybe you will get away with this and maybe you won’t .
You are right I have nothing to do , but now I have .
