Police were called to the junction of Forest Road and Ash Street after several vehicles collided at the traffic lights.

There did not appear to be any serious injuries . Traffic was diverted around the scene.

I’m not surprised in the slightest, this set of traffic lights is probably the most ignored in all of Southport.

I'm pretty close to these lights and see some horrendous decision making. Worst offenders appear to be (in no particular order) taxi drivers, boy racers in loud exhaust/sound system Noddy cars and lap glances checking Face Ache etcetera.
