I can't believe that police officers are told to stop 'suspicious looking' people. Like wearing an obvious false moustache or a striped jumper and carrying a sack marked 'SWAG'?

People 'behaving suspiciously' is more likely.

The police have a seriously difficult
    job in their approach.

They are all 'suspicious looking' people in Part Street, and in every other street, for that matter.

What is wrong with people , the police are
    questioning people and that's good.
If you have problems with being asked
    questions ,you have something to
    hide.

Perhaps it's because some of us remember the 'sus law', which was repealed in 1981 after protests that the police were using it as a blatant example of racial profiling.
