Our match against Spennymoor due to be played at The Pure Stadium today has been postponed.
The decision has been taken on the grounds of league consultation with regards to player and supporter safety in view of Storm Dennis which is affecting large parts of the country.
Amber warnings for rain and yellow warnings for wind are in place for most of the country from Saturday afternoon and into Sunday evening.
The Met Office have indicated that the worst hit areas could see rainfall between 120-140mm and gusts of wind up to 80mph over the weekend.
All tickets purchased online for this match will remain valid and a new date will be announced ASAP.
Anyone wishing to obtain a refund should e-mail Club Secretary, James Tedford (secretary@southportfc.net) stating their order number.
