A stunning shot of Southport at sunset will now go on display at a special photography exhibition in London.

Resort photographer Ollie Cowan has been chosen as one of a number of Fujifilm photographers to have his work exhibited at the Fujifilm Printlife: My Life Photo Exhibition at the Truman Brewery in Brick Lane later this month.

The shot, which depicts Southport Pier bathed in a golden glowing sunset while skateboarders pass by, has been chosen as one of thousands of images by fujifilm photographers to be displayed in their latest public exhibit.

The Fujifilm Printlife exhibit is one of the UKs largest ever crowd-sourced photography exhibitions, which will showcase thousands of photos picturing what life is really like in 2019.

Ollie said: “I’m absolutely made up to have my work on show in London and I’m delighted the judges picked such a lovely shot of Southport enjoying one of its famous sunsets.”
