Nigel Farage and the Brexit Party were in Southport on Friday evening at the Conference Centre. It was standing room only as the evening got underway.

Wow, you sound hysterical. The MSM have whipped you up good and proper! Ideas, good or bad, have to be ventilated so they can be dealt with accordingly, hence the whole freedom of speech thing. De-platforming etc doesn't work because you can't negotiate with ideas you cant hear, and suppressing them does not make them go away.

1600 people in the Southport Theatre clearly agree with him and they came from far and wide to hear him. I was sat next to a couple from Preston.

He speaks for the silent majority. As a gay man, I couldn't care less if he's homophobic or whatever "phobic". The fact of the matter is he is standing up for democracy, unlike Gina Miller, Jo Swinson, Ian Blackford, etc., who don't like and won't accept the result of the referendum.

And the protestors outside the Supreme Court this morning have the nerve to stand with their placards stating "Defend Democracy"!! They don't know the meaning of the word.

Or is it only democracy when it suits your own aims?

Or should I go stand there with my placard...
