The new TV series 'The Great Auction Showroom' hosted by Paul Martin were filming this morning at John Nolan's antique centre on Portland Street.

He has appeared 22 different TV shows on British TV. 4 times on BBC’s Antique Road Trip and Celebrity Road Trip, twice on of Dickinson’s Real Deal, and has supplied the antiques for the BBC Antique Master Show, his home has featured on Television on 3 occasions and he has also appeared on the famous Antique Road Show from Liverpool. Cow Boy Builders in Southport, Drew Pritchard show Salvage Hunters, Celebrity Antique Road Trip and Find It, Fix It, Flog It from Oxford. I have also had my own spot on Radio Show where I talked about the unusual stories related to antique items.

There is so much in that shop that they won’t know where to start filming, I have seen that dickinsons real deal and he is just an actor presenter. John Nolan could easily write a big thick book about his life in Antiques this man IS the real deal when it comes to antique dealers, his day starts well before he opens his shop and ends long after he closes up, he always dressed dapper, he is a perfect wise gentleman and his knowledge of Antiques is second to none. I have spent some time with John and his shops are just a scratch on the surface of what he does . Hi John don’t forget to get them to sign the black book .
