Dissolution Legal Notice: As of midnight, I will no longer be an MP as Parliament has been dissolved until after the General Election on 12 December. During this period, there are strict rules on what can and cannot be done by my Parliamentary office.
My office will not be able to take on new casework, or respond to letters, emails or telephone calls from constituents. This is the same for every other parliamentary office during this period. If I am currently dealing with an issue of yours, unless it is urgent or life threatening, I will not be able to continue handling casework until after the election.
If an MP is re-elected, they are then able to resume their Parliamentary duties, including continuing with their constituency casework and responding to other forms of correspondence.
I will be standing again in the General Election as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Southport. If you have a query regarding my campaign or if you would like to become involved, please email getinvolved@damien-moore.co.uk.

He will continue to receive his salary, currently £79,468 a year, up to and including polling day.
If he's chaired a select committee, the extra payment he gets for doing that job stops on the day Parliament is dissolved.
He's are under no obligation to do any work during this period and his parliamentary passes are locked out. But he can keep abreast of urgent casework via parliamentary email.
