Bus and Taxi drivers have been left fuming after the DVLA clamped a car in Rotten Row this morning. The road is closed to vehicles to enable the free flow of busses and taxis dropping off and picking up at the Flower Show.

One taxi driver said " its madness why did they not just tow it away it would have made our lives much easier.

Is this really important. Bit rich for a taxi
driver who are one of the worst for sticking 2 fingers
up at the law.
Just learn to abide by the speed limits,
parking on yellow lines on Lord St.
( Near Sainsbury's) cycle lanes ( railway station).

Oh sorry forgot school gates.

Surely it is not such an issue?


There looks to be plenty of room for buses to get passed!

I thought exactly the same, it’s hardly causing an issue is it. The bit about taxi drivers kicking off made me laugh, some of Southport’s finest don’t adhere to any of the rules of the road.

What a lot of nonsense - you could get a Challenger tank with a side car on it past there!
