Exciting plans to extend Southport's busy Lidl have been cancelled - because of uncertainty surrounding Brexit.
The company owns the whole site off Virginia St. and was hoping to demolish the Dominos and Johnson decorators trade shop but as an insider said on Saturday: "We have our profit margins to think about."
Given the news, Johnson's have now signed a new five year lease at the site.
