Organiser Jess Thwaites is very pleased to report how well the family fun day held on Sunday went and how much was raised for the Make a Change For Botanic campaign.

This event wasn’t a “fundraiser”, it was a “fun day” to celebrate the park and raise awareness of the campaign, yet we’ve managed to raise £2,267.85 in cash donations from the public.

Another £7000 of generous donations from our sponsors: Monkey Puzzle Southport, The Settle Inn, the stall holders, local businesses including The Dram Gift Shop, local councillors and the events we had attend who all thoroughly enjoyed the day too! Paris Bubbles Entertainment iZorb

The total made is over £9,000.
