QLocal reporter Roger Blaxall - who's also press and PR officer for Friends of Real Lancashire - couldn't help but notice local properties in the Entwistle Green shop window advertised as in Lancashire and Merseyside.

Said one local trader: "Houses tend to sell better when described as located in Southport, Lancashire."

Either can be used and both are recognised by Royal Mail. What is the point of this news item?
