That's politics for you.

As to Grenfell it was until it's horrendous fire a good example of how many members of the Bame communities could get a place in one of the most expensive places in the country, hardly a good example of discrimination against them.

And for the less than smart asses, many blocks are still clad with this stuff or similar private and social so that's not the reason they got a place in it.

As to constantly blaming the police, if they were a bunch of racists surely they would exact their assaults away from the Police Stations ?

Kensington is similar to Sefton, parts have highly desirable property and other parts are somewhat less desirable, the Council had had the Tower Block refurbished on the cheap and issues caused by this were as much to do with cause of the fire as the cladding.

The Police do exact their assaults away from the Police Stations.

I think you have misunderstood .


As to the particular incidence you have chosen to post a video it doesn't show the lead up to it but in the context of this thread, it fails;


We need proof that all the Police are going out attacking people for no reason other than their colour.

The Police are allowed to use force that's reasonable in the circumstances and that can include punching.

The person being arrested was not Black, there was no suggestion of a racial motive for him being arrested.

But first and foremost and particularly in the current climate if there had been no attempts to evade arrest forcibly, two people are more than likely to be alive and this particular man would not have been sat on and punched.

If you think the Police should be restricted to "Queensbury rules" whilst arresting violent people you are in cuckoo land.

Don't phone 999 if someone is attacking you, send a letter outlining the circumstances and the Police can send you a new snowflake approved offender detainment form to find out what you consider appropriate for the circumstances before they turn out.

or is engaged in criminal activity.
