Once again another poor soul is found to be sleeping rough in Southport this time in the entrance to Marble Place.
The help of the public is always appreciated and to report an incident of rough sleeping in Sefton please call the Rough Sleeper Outreach Team via Light for Life on 01704 501256 or 07918 746042 outside normal office hours and weekends.
Alternatively, email housing.options@sefton.gov.uk and provide details of the location and any description of the person. We will acknowledge your email and give you a response to your report.

Does it not appear to be odd that these people sleep on the streets in the daytime? If they are homeless, surely that is the best time to be moving around - why don't they sleep at night? How is it that they ONLY appear in town only in the daytime, generally homeless people do not like to be seen in public places.

It's clearly not broad daylight in the photo and the story was posted at 6:51am. Perhaps the unfortunate person hadn't woken up from their night's sleep yet.
You'll find people still asleep in doorways in the station at that time as well.
Perhaps you could wait for them to wake up and interrogate them to get the answers to your questions.
