My bet is a Waste Storage Yard, there isn't much of a global market for scrap plastic at the moment, there again the scrap metal market is down so it could be a car breakers.

i remember a couple of old Victorian houses in Southport that mysteriously caught fire shortly after planning permission had been refused.

I always thought the old casino would mysteriously catch fire. Very surprised its still there.
