I wonder what would happen if you or I and 50 friends decided to drive onto a a protected grassed area with a strict “no vehicle” ruling, parked up, slept on there and made a mess and general nuisance.

Of course you would be moved immediately - you are not privileged! These semi literate people obtain far more money than the PM, they have their own homes in their own country, and many own businesses outside the UK. Not only are they very wealthy, with large amounts of money that they do not part with for lesser expenses - they also belong to a minority group that has its own language, its own laws and its own religion. They keep themselves secular to the local people and they defend their rights fiercely with specialist barristers. No-one is allowed on the grounds that they illegally occupy while they are present!
People who pay for the right to own their own homes, pay council taxes and support the local economy have absolutely no rights whatever as far as the law is concerned because your council taxes pay for the Police to apply the laws that apply only to the people who pay them.
