Hardly a surprise. It's been on the cards for years. Blairites who've been complaining forever.
All Labour need to do is fight them in a by-election eventually.
I'd say they aren't too wide of the mark when it comes to 'Momentum', even if they didn't mention them by name. I don't like extremes when it comes to politics, right or left. But either reform from the inside or GTFO.
Just another day in the *****-show that is English politics at the moment.

This is not just any set of Blair groupies(I take your word on that) this is Labour MP'S publicly stating they are ashamed of Corbyn and that he is not fit too lead the Labour Party.

Of course. As is their right. I can only hope that it makes the executive take note, particularly about antisemitic concerns.
Thing is, these splinter groups rarely amount to anything. You had a few big names back in the 80s forming the SDP. Similar centrist ideals. Didn't amount to much until they split and some of them threw their lot in with the Liberals. Although if they did that now, the Lib-Dems would almost double their representation in Parliament.
Until the next by-election, anyway.
I don't think you'll find many in Labour either surprised or overly concerned. If the leadership changes, that's fine too. I'm more concerned with politics than personalities. It's the era of exits. Is this a 'Lexit'? 'Legs It'?

As I understand it Corbyn was elected following a democratic vote.
The 'gang of seven' are perfectly at liberty to be miffed about the result and how things have turned out but - to all intents and purposes, they are no longer Labour MP's and should resign their seats.
Mabye they could form SDP (2) - the Lib Dems would be cock a hoop as history tells us they'll see them as seven new seats to absorb.

As there is a certain party being ripped apart over our leaving the European Dictatorship I think they may follow suit and a centre party formed. Then the remaining lunatic left of Labour and the lunatic right of Tories can form the Lunatic Asylum.
This Country needs a new view of Politics away from the failed models so here we go minus the Lib Dums of course they are nonentities .

It is a party of Remain supporters so it is understandable to want to distance their view from far left Brexiteers.
