morning 10.12 . on Portland St.
Hell , he's probably on £25+ per hour
what's the problem . Joe public pays for it.

Maybe he had been working through the night and was getting his head down before heading home.

Utter Bullsh*t why didn't you knock on the window and ask him. There may have been a possession on the line with on-track machines working within the possession and he could have been the handsignalman letting on-track machines/ballast trains in and out of the possession. I was on a job at Hellifield a few years ago where the Engineering Supervisor (in charge of the worksite within the Possession) had travelled from Plymouth.

Over to you know all to enlighten us. If you can't keep your thick headed comments to yourself. Perhaps us idiots pay your wages TOO.

Then you'll be moaning about a 15/20% increase in out of work benefit scroungers.

You have absolutely no idea why he was having a sleep. I bet you would grump at police for eating while on shift, ambulance drivers for parking across your drive, nurses parking down your road etc. If you're really that bothered then ring Network Rail and ask what the shift patterns are of those working on the upgrading of the Liverpool-southport line.

Ausard, I have a near 30yr old daughter who forany years had a free pass to bypass A&E and go straight through to the childrens ward at Southport but then rather than go for the bloke having a kip in his car i would much rather have a go at the people in charge of the HS2 fiasco.

Ha!Ha! Check out large companies all across the UK - I can mention quite a few very reputable companies, including global, where employees constantly find ways of wasting time while being paid. It never used to be - British workers used to be some of the most industrious workers in Europe.

Or did you notice Members of Parliament falling asleep while on duty? Earlier this week there was mention of a Judge falling asleep in court?
There are probably good reasons and why should we question them?
