Please NO - New Brexit Party with Nigel

Just as everything could not get any muddier ... I am going to stick my head in the nearest sandpit for the next 50 days.

A new Brexit party, supported by Nigel Farage has been officially recognised by the Electoral Commission and is likely to win over thousands of Tory defectors, the Telegraph reports.
The party is called ...The Brexit Party. It says it will field candidates in England, Wales, Scotland and Europe.
The party leader is former Ukip candidate, Catherine Blaiklock, who the New European profiled her last month (it’s worth reading in full):

Frankly if they could draw in just Tory voters, fine, but you're right we don't need another gang of right wing weirdos making the scene even more confusing.

IMO Brexit referendum was Tory fear of UKIP, the party that won one seat.

If this helps defeats this lot i will gladly buy him a pint. Mays crap deal must cheese off a lot of Tory Brexit supporters

    What on earth for?

They've got Brexit. They'll never be taken seriously as a political party.

The Monster Raving Loony Party has greater legitimacy.

I was laughing out loud at the Catherine Blaiklock piece, until I realised she actually existed and has indeed said those things.

    Good grief.

How interesting is it that UKIP had one seat in Parliament, yet the BNP had fifty seats in Parliament?

A new party would have to have a VERY strong leader - anything less is doomed to failure.

The BNP has never had any MPs in Parliament. It had 50 something seats in local government.

I take every personal insult as an achievement. I never issue such insults to anyone for that very reason. Read Confucius, Chinese Philosopher.
