I used to go to NHS dentists - but they were always so rushed and not very sympathetic to my pain. I have been going to a private dentist for many years. You do get a superb service but it costs.

Many thanks.
Who is the best dentist in the Houghton street practice?
I already have an NHS dentist but I am not happy with a filling that was done recently. There is another dentist in the practice but I would feel awkward moving over the them. I feel a different practice would be better.

Years ago there was a dentist in York Rd who was absolutely manic, he used to have two or three patients on the go and two chairs going at the same time and was literally running between them.

That's crazy.
Yes I also feel my NHS dentist is rushed and is trying always to cut corners and save costs.

I do hope you don't mean that he 'cut corners' literally? Shudder! (We have to be careful on the site, some posters do not recognise idioms.)
My last appointment, I was in the dentist's chair for forty five minutes.
