I often travel to Spain. I went 5 times last year and I have been once this year. I am due to go back soon and I will be going again later in the year. The most attractive thing to me about Spain is that I can get there for £30-40 return and in under 2 hours.

With that said, I have begun to think whether or not I will continue to travel as frequently as I do after Brexit. As it stands I would see no reason on my part why I wouldn't continue to go, the people are lovely and a rise in air-fare or travel taxes wouldn't stop me. For me, I like to be far enough away from home but close enough to get back if needed. Further-a-field does not appeal to me.

Went to New York for New Year been in summer but had a romantic idea to go in festive time with snow and frosty and lovely lights. Bad idea wettest New Year for 24 years far busier than summer and didnt even go near Times Square. Cambrills Spain at end of May. Stunning place would definitely go again.Going to Crete end of July, been to other Greek islands but not there. Santo Tomas Minorca again been Minorca but not here, going beginning of September and looking at Cape Verdi for New Year but not booked yet. Love going on holiday ?

Having been to most of the European countries, Canada and the States - South America appeals to me. I like the idea of somewhere non-European and a more natural way of life. Downside is the twelve hour flight!

You could sail across the Atlantic then cruise ship to Canada and South America.
