I watched the programme, no need to be selective, the simple fact is Johnson's bombast and bluster, his strong decisive act has reared up and bit him firmly on the bum and it's his own fault.
No fan of the current pantomime being played out, however when someone decides to play the rules to suit his own agenda, don't be surprised when others play the same game.
Can't pretend to be upset seeing the Tory MPs getting sacked and resigning, but this is the final icing on the cake of outright stupidity which has been played out over the last three years. Whatever the final outcome our reputation of relatively stable governments has been blown away, I would imagine that our country's opinions, wishes and demands will impress very few.
The entire charade has created more division, a much harsher political scene than anything at any time, Cameron and Osborne created the conditions which lead to the total disaffection with Westminster, this allowed chancers like Farage to step into the spotlight, with his catalogue of lies and solutions, so we got the referendum.
Many promises were made as to how leaving the EU would be simple, how we could walk away yet keep the advantages of a European partnership, how once FREE a land of milk and honey would be ours, how the rest of the world would be beating a path to our door with generous trade deals which would revitalise British manufacturing and our economy.
We are now promised a number of years of disruption with not one single worthwhile trade deal anywhere in sight, instead the faint hopes appear to be built on becoming a vassal state to the USA, £billions have already been thrown away for nothing and a government throwing more and more cash at the situation in order to offset the problems THEY KNOW VERY WELL WILL BE OUR FUTURE IN THE EVENT OF JUST WALKING AWAY FROM THE EU.
Deliberately throwing the country into turmoil and a very precarious future does not appear to be a sensible move whatever political party is in charge, yet too many people naively believe that quit the EU and all our troubles will melt away like magic, considering that virtually all our problems are internal, mainly created by the current administration, this seems to me to be an extremely blinkered approach.

The decision regarding no deal will become law as of Monday, there is no appeal, who do you appeal to? the law comes from the House of Commons, signed off by the House of Lords, neither Johnson nor any law courts can overrule that, that's why his last desperate throw of the dice is to rush a snap election through before October 31st and hope against hope of gaining a majority in the current overheated political atmosphere, that would allow him to repeal the law through Parliament, which is also the self same reason why opposition parties will block any election until after October 31st, then run an election in a calmer (hopefully) situation.

Johnson has next to zero hope of getting his opponents in Parliament to change their stance and that is to pardon the phrase his Trump card.
He is now setting up himself up perfectly for a People v Parliament election a jail sentence for contempt would be just the ticket if he has the bottle.
Parliament inflicting yet another delay on the country couldn't play better into his hands.
Every man and his dog now knows the remain majority in Parliament don't want a deal against the wishes of the electorate.
Again we must celebrate the enormous restraint shown by the respectable law abiding democracy respecting leave voters.
