For The Un-Initiated
Someone on Q local questioned my reference to Funko-Pops! For those who are unaware - these are plastic figurines of various characters which have now become a World wide cult. All types of people, of all ages collect them. The prices range from £2.99 - £2000/£3000 each.
Some are far more collectable than others - as new collections come on the market, there is a mad rush to buy.
If you go on the internet and type in Funko Pop collections, then 'images' you will be amazed at just how many of these figurines people own. I don't collect them, not my thing - but if I see new displays in various shops, I pass on the information.
They are sold in every country in the World, in almost every supermarket, toy shop, hobby shop etc.,

I may be wrong - but this appears to be a greater cult than many. The average age of collectors is 35 years.

I would have thought ages closer to 5 than 35, our youngest granddaughter was an avid collector of Shopkins, but they have long been discarded.
