Corbyn has got to be using this as some form of a gimmick, he can't be that daft (can he??) - can't think what though.

I think there would be a good amount of Yes pleases as well, I would expect that Spreadsheet Phil amongst others would relish the chance of stabbing Bojo in the back.

    I love the comments too.

I don't think Corbyn is daft that is far too a rosy view of a conceited toad.

Your last comment, perfect description of Johnson, but not sure that Corbym has sufficient support to carry this, however there must be some way of stopping dictatorial El Presidente Johnson, our democracy must work through Parliament, not on the whim of a deluded, over educated, power mad fool, Johnson isn't stupid he is using every devious trick in the book to force the issue, we all know that his stated wish to still get a deal with the EU is pure BS, scrapping the Irish back stop as a starting point will never fly.

The EU is not in a good position to deny Johnson anything.

How do you work that out then? This strange naive belief that the threat of no deal will have the EU quaking is misplaced, sure a no deal will be damaging all round, it will be the UK not the EU which will be hit hardest.

Do you really believe that 27 countries together will not cope in our absence?

Any EU reorganisation will NOT have the UK as a priority, why should they? Frankly with Johnson's showboating I would not be at all surprised if the message from the EU will be very much "your decision, your problem, you sort it".

Yes just as the default position during the Cold War was to push the nuclear button, no-one wanted that either.

Article 50 is to trigger a 2 year negotiation period on terms to leave, therefore at the end of the 2 years those are the terms for both sides to abide by.
