To get this ludicrous action through the courts is thankfully expensive and will hopefully put an end (no hope realistically) to the whingeing.

The frankly barmy notion that this hypnotic bus only worked on leave voters will hopefully be thrown out by the courts.

Listening to the relative experts on the finances of our relationship with the EU should dry some paint.

The real abuse of power was from Chancellor Osbourne who used his office of state to threaten emergency budgets and financial calamities on the populace the day after the vote.

The same charge can be levelled at many of his co-conspirators including the Prime Minister and the Governor of the B.O.E.

Still the Judge might be a remoaner and then I will have to eat my words.........

Ha!Ha! It has got to be a send up or another pathetic excuse for a human who has signed Gina Miller's guest book!

I was forced to vote to stay in the EU like a lot of people, because we were threatened if we didn't do so. They told us that the world would end, that aliens would come to visit, that there would be an armageddon, we would lose our security, that the country would go broke, that no-one would be allowed to travel to Europe any more, that we would lose our employment rights, etc., F the bus - this is serious! Who can I sue?

You've said something similar on other threads and I'd previously asked the following question without reply ...

so please tell us why exactly the message "We send the EU £350 million a week - lets fund our NHS instead" would have had any effect on anyone voting to remain ...

I mean, are you suggesting that there's someone out there who would say "no" to the NHS getting an additional £350 million a week (as the poster implied)?

Please introduce us to this person saying "I voted to remain in the EU because I didn't want the NHS getting the extra £350 million a week like Boris said".

I previously asked you if you knew the difference between "Let's spend" and "We WILL spend" not a very hard question but you like the fool pnp seem unable to get your grey cell to work.

Johnson, like Farage and the other wallies of the Brexit campaign, had no authority/were not in a position to carry out their many fanciful 'election' promises....A fact which apparently escaped their followers at the time. But which conveniently allowed them to promise the earth, in this particular case being the £350 million!

You are not that cracked that you ACTUALLY believe a politician are you?

First, you ought to know that Vote Leave had nothing to do with Nigel Farage - it only appeared after the referendum was announced. The Director of Vote Leave is and was a Remain supporter! The whole bus issue was intended to be highly controversial by the person whose idea it was to present it. The Independent Headlines, that you seem to have missed:

"Vote Leave chief who created £350m NHS claim on bus admits leaving EU could be 'an error'

Lies, half truths and exaggerations were used on both sides of the referendum just as they are on all sides of politics and always have been. If any of you are not aware of this then I suggest that you just listen, sheep like, to the side that you follow.
Also, as has been already said on this thread, there is a massive difference between "Let's" and "we will". If any of you are not aware of this then your biasedness is taking over your brain.

I take a more measured in believing that both sides think they are right and tend to exaggerate even if you hated the bus your only real complaint could be about gross or net figures usage.

Osbournes emergency budget project fear prediction was merely the use of the end of the spectrum of financial projections to suit him.

It proved wrong but he was hardly likely to tell us we would now have a 44 year record low unemployment and the second highest growth rate in the EU behind Spain (March 19) despite our anti-democracy problems.

Still with other countries outside the EU doing far better than us we have a lot to go for when/if we leave.

[I]'Let' is asking permission to do something.....E.g. kids might say: 'Let us out to play mummy!' To which the answer would be a 'yes' or a 'no'.

The red bus is clearly asking voters for permission to do something, i.e. 'Let's (let us) spend £350m on the NHS instead' by voting 'leave' in the referendum.
