I don't know. Seems it's just a weaker version of the May deal, with a few tweaks.

Sounds like Johnson has presented the deal that he was so against last year, he felt the need to resign over it.

Considering that no-one apart from the most avid leavers wants to throw everything in the bin, then start the lengthy process of opening new trade agreements with most of the world, how do you believe that this will do anything towards righting the wrongs in this country?

Strictly speaking, denomination. Neither side may look much like them, but they are both supposed to be christians.

Whereas the DUP intransigence over Stormont isn't ? The NI government has not sat for nearly 3 years because a few 17th century bigots object to men holding hands and hearling a little Gaelic from time to time.

That's true. And they objected to the GFA in the first place. Bit rich that they should start hand wringing over it now.

Perhaps Johnson thinks he can get his deal done without them, so the magic money tree isn't bearing fruit.

At first glance it would appear the border is moving to the Irish Sea with all of the island of Ireland treated as one country as far as the EU are concerned, he may see this as the first step to a reunification.

Are you sure? Didn't Trump comment earlier this week that, the USA and Italy had been "bound" since Roman times??

There is a lot of countries wanting out of the EU and watching how we deal with it. We are the brains of the world if you look at history. Every other country sends there best students over here to learn.

The problem is those who have constantly told us Boris won't get anything the EU won't change etc are now having to shift on their axis as Varadkar and the EU both support the deal he has negotiated and in particular the Irish Government's concerns have been met.

I have been sometimes a lone voice in not doubting his abilities the anti-democracy mob are still active but no one could have failed to notice the way the EU leaders welcomed him and despite the incessant Boris wants no deal nonsense the opposite is demonstrably true.

I ask who in all honesty believes Corbyn could have got anything.
He would have been and is, totally out of his depth in the intellectual rigour of deal making at the highest level.

Everybody in Parliament is saying the difference between the May Deal and Boris's Deal is negligible, some are saying it is worse, so he has not got anything out of the EU, Varadker is probably only pleased with this version because it is one step nearer Reunification.

No, there aren't ANY looking to leave.
There are leave movements in most countries, who peaked about two years ago without getting anywhere near a majority. The latest of those to fall apart was the Italian one.
If you actually travel in Europe you note the degree of support for the EU and most people you speak to have not a clue why we wanted to leave.
And with the exception of Oxbridge it's mainly mainland European institutions ranked higher. But with us not being part of Erasmus after Brexit few of our students will ever find that out.
the other interesting feature in those countries is that they do not seem to find any conflict between national identity and being part of the EU. I can only assume it's some kind of insecurity in us that produces THAT dilemma.

It is the same deal, but certain clauses have been scrubbed, while others have been added in. See The Spectator. The deal is shown in more detail. I have read some of it - but I need to check the rest. That I have read, does not appear to be a good deal, and I am always apprehensive about anything the media publish as a fantastic move.

My take on where our leave mania originates...It grew out of 'pub talk' between a bunch of semi-inebriated old fools. Gazing blearily into their pints and, hic!, blaming every ill under the, hic!, sun on the EU.
