One of Southport's major attractions Hesketh Park is in a terrible state. The pictures show the once pristine blind and disabled garden totally overgrown with weeds.
Taken yesterday the whole park is a overgrown mess apart from the area around the Observatory.
Sefton Council should hang their heads in shame.

Sefton Council hang your head in shame.
It's what we've come to expect from overpaid charlatans running the councils & Government!

Any volunteers to pay an extra £10 per month to enable the Council to maintain the Parks or should we have a referendum to decide what we want them to prioritise

Couldn't this work be done by those sentenced to so many hours unpaid work or 'community service' or whatever they call it?

U.K. Tory government. Hang your heads in shame.
It’s what we’ve come to expect. Our cash strapped local councils are struggling to provide services for the local community. From the government that claims austerity has come to an end. Pah!

It's what the nation voted for.
Expect far worse once Brexit happens.

There are no prisons in Sefton.
It does have thousands of unemployed who could be given a job to do things like this. They could then help boost the local economy by spending their wages.

While I agree the Cons have starved councils of cash, putting left wing labour nutcases in charge of the purse strings will always end in tears.
They managed to find £32.5 million to buy the strand!

Borrowed by means of prudential borrowing through the 'Invest to Save' Government scheme.

What are you talking about?
How on earth does offering someone a job breach their human rights?
But if you're correct I'd like to seek compensation for my 33 year's continuous employment.
