We are regular visitors to restaurant on 2. The service is excellent. Lovely people and lovely place.

On my first Visit to the restaurant I found a very comfy atmospheric restaurant. The speed of service, quality of food and drink were good. The menu selection and value for money was excellent.

I selected the "posh scrambled egg" which came served with delicious smoked salmon and a rocket salad.

I will be visiting again.

We ordered the summer special (smoked salmon tartlet) which was well worth the wait.

Everything was to the highest standard, including the service.

We are glad we found this gem on our day trip from York and we would highly recommend it to anyone in the southport area.
