I read carefully through all the posts on old cinemas but nobody has yet commented on the fate of The Grand on Lord St, which I gather is now closed, empty and under threat of the Wrecking ball.
Does anyone know what the status of this fine Art Deco building is now? I attach a photo I found on the RIBA site of its fabulous interior in its heyday.I have no idea how much of this interior survives today.
