Am so glad you mentioned the price of your shopping. I married in '67 and recall doing the 'big' shop' which included steak and some goodies and the bill was in the region of £5. I've often wondered did I imagine that.
First baby arrived three years later and I remember too soaking the nappies overnight.
My late husband was 18 when we married and I was 19 and everyone assumed a baby was on the way. There were very few girls left home to live with their boyfriends (or even just to live in their own place) at that time; the only way out was to get married. Luckily, we were happy for almost 23 years until his death at the age of 40.

Just seen this ! The Somewhere Else Reunion was a great success, 150 turned up I had the original DJ's on Mike (Noddy) Knowler, Daryl Jay and Phil Sawyer. Food was amazing and everyone was photographed on entry. Met people I had not seen for over 40 years. It is going to become an annual event.

There is nearly 50 photos
We replicated the old DJ "Somewhere Else" Sign on the DJ set up. Old and new shown here. The cake mimicked the old flashing dance floor and was auctioned off for Charity along with loads of other stuff.
