Sefton Council Tourist brochure around 1985?

I found this whilst sorting out boxes of keepsakes in the loft.
A lot of the attractions have now gone.Attachment 103887

Most are as I remember Southport when I left in 1980's.

    Can you date it?

Far better than McDs. I think the photos are earlier than the postcards as I worked at that wimpy bar in my last year at school "72" and not very long after the owner/franchisee had to change the name, the "Egg and Flitch" for buying other than Wimpy produce, possibly just the buns cos the burgers still tasted good.

OH YEAH, I remember him now I used to speak to him on the bus to town. He must have lived on or near Upper Aughton Rd cos that's the bus I would take to school, now and again.
He was a really nice bloke.
