Gordon Munro - Local Jazz Musician 1950s/60s/70s
Back in the 1960s/70s, I was a fan of jazz musician Gordon Munro.
Gordon was a wonderful jazz guitarist, and also taught the guitar locally.
Gordon died back in the 80s, I think.
Now, years ago, I recall hearing that there were some recordings of Gordon knocking around. Recordings that I'd dearly love to hear.
I guess I need to contact some local jazz musicians/followers from the the 1950s/60s70s.
Has anyone got any suggestions?

Gordon Guitar
I knew Gordon well; took a few lessons from him. Really nice man; had MS as I recall. Turned me on to Barney Kessell and Zenith guitars (wish I'd never sold mine)! Used to listen to him in a Jazz band in Scarisbrick Hotel - in the back room. Played with him there once. He was a wonderful mentor and many of us Southport 'guitarists' owe him a lot.
If recordings are around I love to hear them too!
Happy memories........
