Christ the King School late 70s/early 80s
New to the forum so hello everyone
Just wondering if anyone has any memories of CTK teachers in the late 70s and early 80s??
I can think of several highly unpleasant characters... Do the names O'Donnell, Wycherley, Fay and Eckersley ring any bells??
These brutes would surely be prosecuted nowadays

My husband went there at that time and he asked if you remember Murray-Bligh. Apparently he walked around with a leather strap, hitting people. You had to stand up when he spoke to you.

He sure was... I was actually speaking to a former CTK teacher the other day (hence this thread) who agreed with me about him. He left under a cloud... Alledgedly
O'donnell was the one I hated most. "Get the answer right or I'll hit you" was his teaching method!! Yep... that'll work Vince!!

Gaz I had the same feeling when I left Birkdale Secondary School, also hated school.I had years of sleepless nights and headaches. When I left I felt a weight off my shoulder. Our
Boz would have to take me to school sometimes,or I would not go.I just stayed for the register on many occasions and then
walked out of school.I was not proud of doing this, but there was one nasty teacher, that I could just not bear to sit in the class.
