KGV are delighted that from September 2018, they will once again be able to offer their students the opportunity to study Further Maths at A Level. This challenging and prestigious subject would be great addition for those who have a real talent for Mathematics and perhaps hope to go on to read Maths at University.



Choosing to study Further Maths at KGV will deepen your knowledge of maths, going in to detail about a whole new numbering system involving the square roots of negative numbers. You will also have opportunities to learn more Statistics, Mechanics and Decision Maths, which involves solving problems using algorithms in much the same way that computer programs work.
