A leading Sefton Councillor is welcoming the success of his weather modification policies where he has been 'leading the way' in the development of progressive polices.
Councillor Seth Clipboard says:
"I and the vast majority of the residents with whom I have been intimately involved in a programme of discussing barographic variation over the past three years in which I have been an elected representative are all delighted that the policies which we have been pursuing over this time have come to fruition in Hurricane Ophelia. The hot air which we have created has more than matched that created in the Sargasso sea and it is more than probable that this has caused the deviation of the hurricane away from Southport.
Ophelia shows the results which can be achieved by working together with the forces of nature rather than the oppositionism which is so prevalent and inimicable to the production of the foundations for weather systems which have cross party support.
