A house in Banks was attacked at 4am this morning in what appears to be a case of mistaken identity.
Amy Keely who lives there said: "After well over one year of complaining to Regenda housing about anti social behaviour from neighbours, absolutely nothing's been done by either Gary Holmes and Thomas Dumbell!
"Enough is enough. At just after 4 am this morning a brick was put through our kitchen window because whoever did it presumed our kitchen window was actually number 27 Chapel Close's window.
"What if our dog was injured? Would Regenda act then? What if our other window where our 6 year old son slept was put through? Would Regenda actually fulfil their care of duty to us then?
"Please share this post and picture's and see if we can get something done about this once and for all!"
Anyone with information is asked to call Lancashire Constabulary on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111

Whilst I can sympathise with their predicament this is essentially a matter for the Police to deal with and not the landlords.

Most Housing Associations bang on at length about their policies regarding anti-social behaviour, ask you to report even minor incidents etc. This obviously isn't an isolated incident. And while it has escalated to the point where police should be involved, the HA does have a duty of care to their tenants.
If the HA was aware of this from previous incidents, their duty of care should have been prioritised towards an innocent family with a six year old child, surely.

Bitter experience tells me that those who behave in this way laugh at Housing Officers attempts at intervention and, the law being as it is, makes it Olympic standard jumping through hoops to evict the buggers.
