Police use stinger to stop stolen vehicle at 5.00am today.

A vehicle that was stolen in Southport and being pursued by Merseyside Police and the national Police Air Service Helicopter was driven into Lancashire where is was successfully brought to a stop on the A59 close to the Rufford Arms after being stung by Lancashire police who had taken over the pursuit.

The driver was arrested at the scene.

Excellent quick work by the Police.

I hope they throw the book at them, they woke me up. Good test for the new average speed cameras too.
