The tribe of morons that frequent Southport town centre have been causing damage yet again. Recently filled planters on London Street have had the flowers ripped out of them and strewn onto the pavement.
Money for the flowers comes from the Southport BID.
Anybody with information is asked to call Merseyside Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111

Insufficient Police Officers equals law breakers running amok. That is what we have on a nightly basis.

erm..... I was under the impression that we are paying for a bells and whistles " security firm " to rid us of these evils.
Would this outfit possibly be getting paid by results? I think not somehow.
This " security " bunch will probably, more than likely, raise the excuse of , " well, we can`t be everywhere can we " ?
Thought we may well have been given the additional benefit, and excitement , of seeing a local non-dignitary ,who is never off this site, with his jacket off and sleeves rolled up clearing up the mess. Dream on!

Probably a bit late for that: they're obviously already brain-dead thugs.

When out working last night I noticed a group of around 12 to 15 teenagers walking around that area, they had walked from Lord Street heading towards Asda, this was around 11.30pm to 11.45pm,not saying it was these that were responsible ? But,if the CCTV was working in the area, then maybe the Police could check the footage ?

Who these days can discipline or reprimand them?
The loony left do-gooders and P.C Brigade have made it almost impossible for anybody (parents included) to even criticize their behaviour without receiving a load of foul mouthed abuse.

Bob on with that comment.
Unless discipline comes from somewhere and God knows parents can't seem to provide it, we not going to solve this problem. It's certainly not just Southport but everywhere I'm afraid and until people say enough is enough and nail the little bar stewards to an available cross it will continue unabated.
There is no deterrent whatsoever for scum like this and please don't blame a "hard life" or "broken families" for what could be the reason for this, PC brigade!!

The problem is they don't think ! They have no concern for other peoples property - they don't think about the effects of their actions on others, only themselves.
I have flowers on the edge of my property and have had to put netting over them as they have been pulled out so many times by passing teenagers ! There is no reason to do so other than a pure selfish desire to destroy something nice !
